Saro is the sixth and final cluster at Masaar, the 19-million-square-foot Arada community in Tilal City. The Approach Most People Get Wrong
If you punch "Saro at Masaar" into Waze right now, it tries to send you in via the Masaar Track entrance off Mleiha Road. That's the cycling-path side. Trucks aren't allowed on the inner Masaar Track corridor — security will turn you around at the gatehouse, and if you came up from Dubai via Emirates Road that's a 22-minute detour to come back via the Tilal City service entrance.
The correct mover route is Emirates Road (E611) to the Mleiha Road interchange, then the Tilal City commercial gate, then a left after the school plot. Service trucks are routed along the perimeter access road that ring-fences the forest. You lose GPS signal for about three minutes inside the tree canopy — drivers should brief themselves before they enter.
What a Saro Move Actually Costs
Saro plots are bigger than anything in Sendian or the earlier Masaar phases. A 5-bedroom Signature villa runs roughly 4,500 sq ft of liveable area with a maid's room, driver's room and double-height entrance. The Handover Window Is Narrower Than You Think
Arada gives you the key SMS, but you can't physically move in until your snagging walk-through is done and your home pack — manuals, smart-home credentials, gate fob — is collected at the community management office near Saro's south plaza. That office runs 9am to 5pm, six days a week. It closes Fridays. Plan for that.
Here's the part nobody mentions: the Eid Al Adha break this year falls between 25 May and 29 May, with private sector residents off Wednesday to Friday. If your handover slips into that window, you'll be sitting on keys you can't activate until 31 May at earliest. Book your mover for 1–3 July, not 28 June, if you suspect any slippage.
Building-Specific Constraints to Plan Around
- Garage clearance: Saro double garages clock at 2.4 metres door height. A standard 7.5-tonne mover truck stands at 3.3 metres. Park outside the garage and shuttle in via furniture dollies.
- Marble and porcelain floors: All Saro ground floors are large-format porcelain. Movers MUST use felt sliders or rubber dollies — castors will hairline-crack the slabs and Arada's snagging team will charge it back to you on your first 90-day inspection.
- Internal stairs: The 5 and 6-bed villas have a generous double-flight staircase, but the landing turn is tighter than most movers expect. Anything wider than a 4-seater sofa needs disassembly, not muscle.
- Smart home pre-pairing: Saro ships with smart-home pre-installed. Don't unpair anything before the technician walk-through, or you'll be in handover purgatory for three weeks waiting for an Arada engineer.
Schools, Clinics and the Rest of the Day-Two Stuff
Once the boxes are inside, the next problem is logistics. Sharjah English School and Victoria International School are 9 and 12 minutes from the Saro gate — both have moved their bus pickup routes to include the Masaar perimeter as of the current term. Aster Clinic Tilal is the nearest walk-in medical centre.

Roughly 400+ Saro units hand over inside a 45-day window. That means a real risk that on your move day, three other trucks are circling the same perimeter road.
