DSO HQ towers (The Binary, Axis, Kanz, Palace Towers, Silicon Gates): High-rise apartments with standard tower logistics — elevator booking via building reception, AED 500–1,500 move deposit (varies by tower), two-hour move window at Binary specifically. Kanz Residence has a cargo lift separate from residents — the AED 300 "cargo lift reservation" on the invoice is real. Most apartment moves here cost AED 1,500–2,800.
Silicon Heights 1 & 2, Silicon Arch, Silicon Gates 1–4: These are the trickier ones. Smaller buildings, single passenger lift doubling as cargo lift, narrow stairwells. 2-bed moves here often need a 4-person crew instead of 3 because of the lift-wait time — budget AED 300–500 extra versus a tower with dedicated service elevator.

DSO's two chokepoints are Academic City Road (to E311) and the DSO Gate exit onto Al Ain Road. Move trucks trying to leave DSO between 07:00–09:00 on weekdays hit the Academic City school run — International School of Choueifat, GEMS Modern Academy, Repton Abu Dhabi shuttles — and lose 25–40 minutes. We schedule all DSO-exit moves for 09:30 or 10:00 start to clear that window.
